Question 1
FTV: We see that you took on the role of Tommy Q in 2004. What was the audition process like? How did you hear about it?
Tim: I was shooting another project in Toronto. So I auditioned while I was shooting something else. I remember reading with Alexz and that there were alot of people in the room. Other than that, it's kind of a blur. Memory loss comes with old age....

FTV: About how long does it take to film one show of Instant Star?
Tim: About four days..

FTV: You’ve been in movies and on TV, would you say filming for each is different or the same and how?
Tim: Nothing is as comfortable as Instant Star. Nothing. It becomes almost too comfortable. Movies are always different because they're new. New character. New crew. New challenges.
Question 4
FTV: We’ve seen you play the piano on Instant Star. Is that really you playing and if so, how long have you been playing?
Tim: Piano not so much, enough to learn the parts but I'm definitely not Ray Charles. I play drums and guitar. That's the best part of being an actor though, learning new things, like different instruments or driving fancy cars. I still can't drive stick and every car I get on Instant Star is manual!!! Tommy Q needs to pick one car and stick with it! Hopefully an automatic.

FTV: We were told that you have your own restaurant. What is the name of it and can you tell us a little bit about it? What made you start it?
Tim: Garde Manger 408 St. Francois Xavier.. Old Port of Montreal -- Nice plug!
My best friend wanted to open a restaurant. I said sure and we opened. It's the best thing I ever did with my life.. I'm super blessed to have it. My 2 partners are my friends and I love being there. It gives me balance in my life. I work so hard when I'm there. It takes up so much time and energy its crazy but its worth it.. Anyway i need to work. There are 2 types of bees, worker bees and queen bees.. I'm a warrior bee!!! ( how cliche was that)! I love it. Sometimes people who come to the restaurant are suprised to see me working so hard. What do they want me do? Sit around and try to look cool? I bartended seven years of my life. I like being behind a bar. It's a good balance to my actor life.

FTV: The fourth season is about to start on Instant Star. We know the fans cannot wait to see what happens after we were left with such a cliffhanger at the end of season 3! Can you give us any hints or sneak peeks on what is to come? When will season 4 begin?
Tim: I really have no idea.

DOMANDA 1Ti abbiamo visto nel ruolo di Tommy Q nel 2004. Come sono state le audizioni? Come ne sei venuto a conoscenza?
TIM: Ero a Toronto che giravo per un altro progetto. Così ho fatto le audizioni mentre stavo girando qualcos'altro. Mi ricordo che ho letto i copioni insieme ad Alexz Johnson e che c'erano tante persone nella stanza. Il resto non lo ricordo. La memoria comincia a diminuire ad una certa età...
DOMANDA 2Più meno,quanto si sta per girare un episodio di Instant Star?
TIM: Circa 4 giorni.
DOMANDA 3Hai fatto sia cinema che tv; diresti che è la stessa cosa o è uguale e come?
TIM: Niente è così confortante come Instant Star. Niente. E' diventato forse troppo confortante. I film sono sempre diversi perchè è tutto nuovo. Nuovo personaggo. Nuovo cast. Nuove sfide.
DOMANDA 4Ti abbiamo visto suonare il pianoforte in Instant Star. Sei veramente tu che lo suoni,e se si,da quanto tempo?
TIM: Il pianoforte non lo so suonare molto; suono quello che basta per imparare le parti,ma non sono di certo come Ray Charles. Io suono la batteria e la chitarra. Questa è la cosa più bella di fare l'attore,imparare nuove cose,come suonare nuovi strumenti o guidare belle macchine. Non so ancora guidare con il cambio manuale e tutte le macchine in Instant Star lo hanno. Tommy Q ha bisogno di prendere una macchina e tenere quella! Possibilmente con il cambio automatico.
DOMANDA 5Abbiamo saputo che hai un tuo ristorante. Puoi dirci il suo nome e qualcosa in più? Come mai lo hai aperto?
TIM: Garde Manger 408 St. Francois Xavier.. Old Port of Montreal -- Bella pubblicità! Il mio migliore amico voleva aprire un ristorante. Io ho detto di si e lo abbiamo aperto. E' la cosa migliore che ho fatto nella mia vita...sono davvero contento di averlo. I miei soci sono due miei amici e adoro stare al ristorante. Serve a bilanciare la mia vita. Lavoro duramente quando sono lì. Mi occupa molto tempo ed energia ma ne vale la pena...in ogni caso ho bisogno di lavorarci. Ci sono due tipi di api,le operaie e le api regina...io sono un'ape guerriera! Lo amo. A volte le persone che vengono al ristorante si sorprendono nel vedermi lavorare così tanto. Cosa vorrebbero che facessi? Che mi sedessi e cercassi di apparire figo? Ho lavorato come barman per sette anni della mia vita. Mi piace stare dietro al bar. Bilancia la mia vita da attore.
DOMANDA 6La quarta serie di Instant Star inizierà tra un po'. Sappiamo che i fans sono impazienti di sapere che cosa succederà dopo che sono stati lasciati sul più bello con la fine della 3^serie! Potresti dirci qualcosa,qualche anticipazione,qualche indizio su cosa succederà? Quando comincerà la quarta serie?
TIM: Non ne ho la più pallida idea!
